Hemp fabric looks and feels like fine linen, but hemp fiber grows up to 6 times faster than flax. The pillow insert is filled with Kapok, and has great loft. These pillows were chosen to show at HauteGREEN, a curated exhibition of the best in sustainable design for the contemporary home, and featured in Harpers Bazaar Sept 2007.  Pillow cover is machine washable. 

The U.S. government prohibits the growing of hemp (cannabis family) in the United States, but does not prohibit sales of hemp textile products.   Made in India.
